Bike & tasting tour in the center of Florence

Book our "bike & tasting tour in the center of Florence" to discover the wonderful artistic  treasure of the cradle of the Renaissance while having fun.

The bike tour lasts approx. 2 1/2 hours and Filippo (your tour guide) will take you on a discovery of the beauty of Florence pedaling around the city center. You will admire the Palazzo Vecchio in the beautiful Piazza Signoria then on to Piazza Duomo to see the  famous Cathedral, the Giotto Tower and the Baptistery, continuing to Piazza Santa Maria Novella to see the striking church and then going on the other side of the Arno to see the Ponte Vecchio (old bridge) and Palazzo Pitti.

The course is easy and very pleasant.

We offer 2 tours per day: the morning tour starts at 10,30 am and the afternoon tour starts at 5,00 pm.   Both departs from Piazza Singoria (approx. a 10 minutes walk from the hotel). From November 1st till March 31st teh bike tour starts at 4,00 pm

The morning bike tour will end at 12,30 pm at our bistro "IL DESCO" (Via Cavour 55red) where you will taste typical dishes freshly made by our chef: choose two dishes from our menu while relaxing after the bike tour.

The afternoon tour will end at 7,30 pm at our bistro "IL DESCO"  where you will taste some bruschetta (toasted bread seasoned with oil and garlic tomatoes and organic vegetables) with cheese ham or salami and a glass of good red Tuscan wine or another drink of your choice.  As the perfect ending to the tour, Fillippo will accompany you to taste a homemade ice cream in a nearby parlor.

Prices per person:
Morning Tour: euro 45,00 per person (2,30 hours guided bike tour and lunch at IL DESCO included)
Afternoon Tour: euro 37,00 per person (2,30 hours guided bike tour, aperitif with appetizers at IL DESCO and ice cream included)

The bistro "IL DESCO" offers dishes with local produces many of them organic such as the vegetables and the extra virgin olive oil from our organic farm "podere la Croce" in Reggello.
Vegetarian dishes and gluten free are also available.

Terms and conditions.

- if it's raining you can do a walking tour with the guide instead of the bike tour -
- you can cancell the tour max 3 days before the day of the tour with no penalty fee. If you cancell the tour later we will charge full amount as penalty fee -
- during the month of Janaury 2013 this toru is not available -
